How often should I practice?
You can practice as often as you like, but you will see great benefits from practicing 2-3 times per week.
How to book my first class?
Please check our current Class Schedule to find a class that appeals to you and click the BOOK button to be redirected to Mindbody site to sign up or login for booking and purchasing. Alternatively, download the Mindbody app to your mobile phone. Once you've signed up and found Avirit Yoga, booking a class and making a purchase is as easy as just pressing a button. I had an injury in the past, can I still practice?
Yes, our teachers are highly qualified and they will be able to suggest the variations to suit your abilities. The best class is Gentle, as it is specifically designed for people with injuries. Please speak to the teacher about your injuries before the beginning of the class and check with your doctor before joining.
Can I begin practicing yoga if I am 50 or older?
Yes, our Centre specialises in Yoga for 50 yo and older. yoga classes, such as Gentle and Restorative are specifically designed for people of any age and abilities. Our teachers are trained to adjust postures to suite everyone.
Is yoga for everyone?
Yoga is suitable for all women and men at all fitness levels, regardless of age and for children above the age of 12
I’m pregnant or just had a baby, when can I practice yoga?
We recommend prenatal yoga to second trimester and postnatal after three months from delivery. But you must get your doctor's OK before joining us. Please choose Gentle, Restorative and Foundation classes and inform the teacher that you are pregnant.
